Chelsea Gilbert-Making Nature Sacred
"The whole material universe is preserved by gravity, or attraction, or the mutual tendency of all bodies to each other. One part of the universe is hereby made beneficial to another. The beauty, harmony and order, regular progess, life and motion, and in short, all the well-being of hte whole frame depends on it. this is a type of love or charity in the spiritual world."--page 64 I think that this quote is saying that there are things in the world, more specifically nature, that form a dualistic relationship with another. For example, humans, the outdoors, and fresh air as a relaxant and way to live. Bees use the flowers which bring beauty as a means to get food. There are animals who need to live in water like lakes or oceans, to survive. These are all regular processes, and order that shape the well-being of all life in the natural world. The idea is that the spiritual world gives us these things time after time, at no cost, because nature keeps reproducing.
