Reed Ruddy Confirmation(personal 3)

Earlier in the year my little brother got confirmed. Confirmation is the Roman Catholic induction of a child into spiritual adulthood. Each confirmandi must select a sponsor, someone who has been confirmed already in the faith, and my little brother selected me to be his sponsor. I was flattered because I know my little brother looks up to me for guidance, but I also found that as he has grown he has provided me with alot of useful advice whether or not he knows it I'm not sure. It isn't necessarily things he says, but mostly the actions he takes. My little brother always does the right thing and he makes a point to be respectful of everyone. Because of this he excels in many areas of his life including academics, athletics, and spirituality. It's interesting to think that I have finally gotten to an age where I can learn things by both looking to my elders AND younger people as well. I hope I provide my little brother with proper guidance because I know he will put it to good use and hopefully it will reflect well on me as a brother.
