Reed Ruddy Music (Personal 4)

I love music. I'm listening to it right now, I listen to it while doing homework, hanging out, driving, etc. I believe that music helps keep life in motion. Also, music provides people with different perspectives and experiences to contemplate and mesh into their own lives. Everytime I find a new style of music that I like it makes me happy because new experiences keep life refreshing. Most recently I began listening to Black Eyed Peas and Will.I.Am and I don't remember how I got their cd's but I really like them. Looking back on the music I used to listen to makes me realize that over time I have become alot more open minded. In 8th grade I only listened to Modern Rock music and Metal. I owned a bunch of Metallica and Offspring, but if I heard something that didn't directly represent their particular music styles I rejected it. Now adays my itunes library is full of raggae, rock, pop, rap, metal, funk, and country. The only live concerts I've ever been to were country concerts and jimmy buffet cover bands. If you told me in high school I would have been to any of those or listened to any of the music I listen to now I would have told you you were stupid. I'm glad that I've become more open minded musically because I believe it has helped me to become more open minded in more important areas as well. I still consider myself a little close-minded and stubborn, but the fact that I've shown progress makes me feel good about my future working with other people and being able to see things from other peoples perspectives.
