Chelsea Gilbert-Softball/Baseball Fields
I come from a very big sports family, especially for baseball, so it was only natural that I would play softball growing up. From age 6 to age 18 I spent countless days each year at softball fields practicing or playing. My love for the sport grew with each year that I played. The days at the field and the sport itself became my "sanctuary". I would use softball as the thing which relieved anger, stress, or sadness because for 12 years, it was the only constant in my life. I felt at home when I went to the softball fields. To me, it was one of the greatest places any one could go to outdoors. Now my younger brother plays baseball, and I can only guess, but being from the same family it will have the same impact on his life the way softball did mine.
