Alan Warden- My Experience #2

The other day i was out running some errands, i was in a hurry to get many things done in a short period of time. I was in wal-greens trying to pick up a prescription and it took forever, after about fourty minutes of waiting i got my medicine. I quickly paid for it and rushed out of the store. I got to my car and began to speed away when i realized i didnt have my wallet. Knowing i had just used it to pay, i parked the car and ran inside. A man on my way in said he had just found a wallet and turned it into the cashier. I went inside and got my wallet, all dollar bills, credit cards, everything there. I was relieved, not only had another human just found a wallet full of cash and cards but he turned it in without thought. This brought me back to my thoughts on karma, i am a huge believer in your deeds will revisit you later in life. That man earned himself good karma, he was outside and i thanked him dearly and he told me something that truly struck me, "your life is too short to focus on material goods and yourself, your live longer when you focus on others cause their smile will carry your spirit well after your dead." I felt like he got that line from a book but it hit me hard none the less. I believe my good fortune was result of my good deeds over the years. God smiled down upon me and no matter what else that man has done in his life, his interaction with me will carry past that day.
