Reed Ruddy - Walk in the woods part two

While we were in the wilderness yesterday as we began to go on our individual walks I kept thinking of past experiences in the woods and quickly rediscovered my curiousity for the unknown. As I walked around I couldn't wait to find paths that tapered off from the main, paved pathway so that I could explore what might have otherwise never been seen. Unfortunately, the park was not as interesting as other places I have gone, but it still reminded me of other times in the true wilderness of Northern Canada and the deep waters of key west that I visited over the past few years. Still, the pathway reminded me of the many times I spent hicking Old Rag and other various spots up and down the east coast. Some of the wildlife such as the little mini palm tree looking plants were really cool because I had never seen them before and it reminded me of the limitless possibilities of discovering new things that only the true wild can offer you.
