Brynne Valla--Natural Setting #1

The first natural setting that I went to this semester is actually in my hometown in Williamsburg. Waller Mill Park has lots of trails to hike and paddleboats available for cruising around the lake. It's really small but it's still a really pretty park to visit. I went a few weeks ago and hiked around a few of the short trails and sat in a serene spot I found near the lake. I noticed some birds while I was sitting there. Although I couldn't determine what type of birds they were, they revealed brilliant colors in the sunlight. Plants were budding and blossoming and insects were all over the place. Since it was still chilly, there weren't many people around to disrupt my silent surroundings. However, nature still seemed to hum and resonate within the trees. Overall, it was a peaceful experience and pleasant trip to the park.
