1.What is virtue?
2.The difference between true and false virtue?
3.How can humans be virtuous?
Since we never went over it in class I thought this would be a great time to share what I think the answer to each of those questions is. Firstly I think virtue is a moral excellence, it is always doing the right thing no matter the consequence. Humans can be virtuous in my eyes. A virtuous person is one who performs good acts , but also careful about the way that they perform them. To be virtuous you must be virtuous in the eyes of the world and in your own heart. You cannot just perform acts to make people happy you must first know that it is truly the right thing to do. That is what I think the difference is between true and false virtue also, true virtue you act in a way that you know and understand is the right way. While in false virtue you only perform the acts because thats what you have been told to do, by your society.
