While reading a book for another class I came across this quote from Gandhi..
“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed.”
We all know that Gandhi was more knowledgeable and thoughtful then most of us will ever be able to achieve but I particularly like this quote both because we really need to know and understand it and because it goes well with this class. The earth is such a wonderful place filled with thousands of unique and breathtaking wildernesses that we should all get to enjoy along with our future generations. This planet has everything we need in it to survive and always will if we do not burden it with our greed for the material goods. We need to think seriously about our decisions before we take this planet to a place where it can no longer provide for us, its the only one we've got.
