This draws such a crowd for good reason, this enormous canyon began as a small trickle and over hundreds of thousands of years developed into a mammoth canyon with a raging river at the bottom. This sight is overwhelming and striking and requires a visit for everyone. It is absolutely breathtaking to witness something as small as a trickle turn into a massive site such as this. This unique and unforgettable site attracts thousands of hikers who attempt both a spiritual connection as well as a physical pilgrimage. This journey has attracted people like my father to return repeatedly due these reasons, and each time has awarded all of us a new experience.
