Thunderstorms
Most of the time, if you were to ask me what my favorite weather is, I would say fall weather or summertime (except for the humidity). In actuality, my favorite weather is when it thunderstorms. I used to love watching them out over the water at my beach house. The lightening would light up the sky and the rain hitting the water made it look like it was raining upside down. Swimming in it is the best because you feel the water all around you and its warm and cold at the same time. The wind would sway the trees and when the sky lit up it would outline the trees and houses. The clouds would be so dark in the sky it would look black. The smell of the rain and the salt water was good too. It’s strange to me how many people are scared of storms. I guess I can understand that they are intimidating and even dangerous at times. But if you really look at them, they are so cool. How can you not see how amazing the lightning strikes are and how impressive the thunder can be?
