Katelyn Almeda: Gatta 3

Gatta states, ”Among earthly creatures, then, only humans are capable of preaching true virtue. Even they will do so imperfectly, or not at all unless they have first experienced the gift of regenerative grace. (69).”

This quote makes perfect sense to me. Although other creatures on earth have the ability to think, most every thing that they do is straight from instinct. Humans, however, are different because we have the ability to talk with words. We can tell other people how we feel and we can preach our faith and what we feel is honorable to others. We can teach others with our words, not only by the impulses we have as animals. No one is perfect, and unfortunately, because we have the ability to speak, we are many times judged by our words.
