Justin Mawdsley-Weddle, Barbara. “A Little Wilderness: Some Notes on Rambling.”
This article, written by Barbara Weddle, she describes the concept of “Rambling” a spiritual idea that reawakens one to the natural world. She describes how people in search of such a thing go on to experience the wilderness without technological advances like compasses maps, global positioning systems, cellular phones or any form of technology for that matter. Weddle also goes on to compare rambling to concepts like writing a poem, saying that in experiencing things like rambling you experience things for their unseen qualities. This article presents us with one person’s view of what rambling not only means to other people, but also to herself. She provides us with a primary source perspective as to what rambling means. I feel like rambling is a lost aspect of our lives. I feel like more people should do it for the simple fact that they can just experience more of the world. I think it's a great thing, but thats also cause i have too much free time and would thoroughly enjoy wasting it doing something like this.
