Brendan McElroy Protection of Life

About 5 years ago, I was protected by nature. It was summertime, in August, and I was on a mission’s trip serving the less fortunate in Pittsburg PA. It was a great week, but I had not really experienced much spiritually and had just been at a low. Until one sunny day, when something profound happened that changed my life forever. I accidently fell 15 feet off of a ladder, landing flat on my back. But what is so amazing about the whole thing, is that my head, landed directly between 3 cinderblocks. Each of these cinderblocks were 6inches away from my head, and I actually ended up just hitting the soft dirt. Although I did shatter my ankle, and have not been and will not ever be 100% again, I was protected by the landscape around me. I noticed as I got up that I could have certainly smashed my head and not be here anymore. But I was taken care of and protected.
