Topic of my choice #1 Justin Mawdsley

So with the weather becoming more inviting, beach time has finally arrived, and i've begun to really appreciate CNU all over again. I mean don't get me wrong i was having fun in the colder months too, but when i can go to the beach at any given time during the week, i reaffirm my decision to go here. Lazy days spent on the beach are some of my favourite days. I've always had a fondness of the ocean, there's just something there at the beach, i don't know if it's the lifestyle or the beach itself, or if it's the feel of the sand between my toes, whatever it is, it's drawn me in. Laying there listening to the waves and looking out at boats drifting by i'm able to do some of my best thinking. It's a different kind of wilderness than the one's we've focused on in class, but the ocean and the beach definitely have those qualities that make it sacred.
