There are many everyday symbols that are signs of religion, cross and the fish. A symbol that has been turned from a symbol of peace to associated with evil is the swastika. It is the main symbol for the Jainism religion, one of the oldest religions originating from India. Its a shame that people will relate it with the evil that was the Nazis, for its true meaning is peace. I think that people are always looking for that common symbol to help them understand their spirituality. People are always searching for meaning in this world, and for Edwards the spider was his symbol. A common symbol that has means a lot to me is the ying yang. It truly represents the struggle of me verse temptation, i have found almost perfect balance in my life. I also believe that if people are always looking for symbols in life and meaning, sometimes they will miss out on life.
