Patrick Gordon-Interrogation of Creation?

Spiritual traditions have always taught the power of meditating on nature and it’s creatures for generations. Simple meditation proves the proof of god through questioning the creature world. This, however, is not enough for Annie Dillard. She interrogates creation; because if God does exist, he has a lot of explaining to do. With such problems as genocide, Darwinism and unspeakable cruelty; such a force is deemed necessary. With the precarious creating of a theodicy, she comes to terms with the fact that God can either not exist, be some type of a joker, or completely gave up on this world and moved on to another. Although, she doesn’t mildly question, through her meditation she demands answers.
