Alan Warden- Outside Reading #1

The Associated Press released an article called US Panel: Religious freedoms ebbing in Russia. The article has to do with the US concerns of religious freedom deteriorating in Russia, Turkey, and 4 other nations where the right to worship is being regulated. They also added Nigeria to the top 12 list of worst offenders of religious freedom. While those countries were put on "probation", Bangladesh got off the list. The other countries accompanying Russia, Turkey, and Nigeria on the list are Laos, Somalia, Tajikistan, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, and Egypt.  The countries on the list discriminate against some religions and put restrictions on its practices. These countries all have some form of discrimination towards a religious group, or all forms of religion not sponsored by the Government.
