The third axiom Lane writes is, "sacred place can be tred upon without being entered." This means a person can be present in a supernatural environment yet miss the magnitude of the place's beauty or surrealism. Just being in a sacred place physically is not enough to truly experience it. Instead, you have to keep your eyes open and mind aware of religious ephiphanies which allow you to fully enter a sacred place.
Finally, Lanes last axiom is the impulse of sacred place is both centripetal and centrifugal, local and universal. This axiom is significant because it shows us that sacred place can extend beyond the place you currently experience God. More clearly, you see that God is everywhere--he is present back at your home, across the country, across the globe, etc.
